How to Calculate Your Tile Quantity
Step 1 — Measure Your Garage
Measure the length and width of your garage floor in feet.
Step 2 — Calculate Your Square Footage
Length (ft) × Width (ft) = Total Square Footage
Example: 20 ft × 22 ft = 440 sq ft
Step 3 — Account for Waste & Cuts
Add 10% to your total to account for cuts, waste, and future replacements.
Total Sq Ft × 1.10 = Adjusted Square Footage
Example: 440 × 1.10 = 484 sq ft
Step 4 — Divide by Tile Size
Our standard garage floor tiles are 12" × 12" (1 sq ft each).
Adjusted Square Footage = Number of Tiles Needed
Example: 484 sq ft = 484 tiles
